My girls belong to a 4H drama club. As part of their community service the agreed to help the heritage society out by participating in the "Making History Come Alive" tour they do as a fundraiser. Basically what they had to do was dress up in period cothing, memorize a speech about the person and participate in a live "interview" in front of strangers who ride a chartered bus through the cemetery where all the founders of our city are buried. They ended up having to do this a total of 7 times. The two news channels came out and filmed the group and then a reporter from the paper came out and took pictures and talked to the kids a bit. It was absolutely beautiful and finally not raining!
